In 1887, Le Corbusier was born as Charles-Edouard Jenneret in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. From 1900 to 1907, he visited the Ecole d’art de la Chaux-de-Fonds. From 1922 to 1940, he run an architecture studio with his cousin. In 1929, he started the construction of the famous Villa Savoye. Corbusier died in 1965 in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France.
